Short Film: A Canoe Adventure ‘Doon The Forth’
All this talk about Sir Connolly brought another short film to mind which made me chuckle quite a bit throughout lockdown thanks to its quirky characters, one of them also a Banjo player, just like the Big Yin, and both sporting an equally lovely Scottish accent I could listen to all day as they paddle their way through some beautiful hidden spots of the Highlands and Islands.
Having talked a bit much offline over the last few days, attempting to keep my soggy hikers happy whilst fighting with the elements myself, I thought I share this little gem today hoping it might brighten one or the other rainy day of yours as it always brings a smile to my face, and reinvigorates that urge to keep going out there, rain or shine.
So, if in need of a little pick-me-up or some inspiration for your next outdoor endeavour, join Andrew and Mark on a 20-minute canoe adventure (20 minutes on screen as I’d assume it took them a wee bit longer to travel) doon down the River Forth, a trip they set out on with no particular goal in mind but to embrace the journey and all its little surprises 🛶 — happy paddling:
